How to connect Atelier to an assistant, what buying a photograph involves, and where your account lives.
Connecting an assistant
How do I connect Atelier to Claude?
Atelier is added to Claude once, as a connector, and is then there in any conversation.
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector, name it Atelier, and paste this address:Connector address
https://store.greenwoodstudios.dev/api/mcp - Add it. Claude may ask you to sign in now, or not until you first buy something; either way it is the email sign-in described below.
- In a conversation, check that Atelier is switched on in the tools menu, then ask for what you need — a quiet green photograph for my phone’s lock screen.
Claude’s desktop and mobile apps use the connectors on your Claude account, so there is nothing to add twice. If you do not see Add custom connector, your Claude workspace may limit which connectors can be added; ask whoever manages it.
How do I add it to Claude Code?
Run this in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http atelier https://store.greenwoodstudios.dev/api/mcpThen, inside Claude Code, run /mcp and choose Atelier to sign in. You only need to before buying; searching works without it.
Can I use another assistant, or an agent I built?
Yes. The address is a remote MCP server over HTTP, so any client that can add one by its address can use Atelier. Signing in is the standard OAuth flow, which the client starts itself the first time it needs your account.
If your agent can only send a fixed key, make an API key on your account page and send it in the Authorization header, as Bearer followed by the key. A key is shown once, can buy on your behalf, and can be revoked on the same page; you can have five at a time.
Do I need an account just to look?
No. Searching, previews and the license need no account. Your assistant asks you to sign in the first time you buy, check your credits, or download something you own.
How does signing in work?
There is no password. Atelier emails you a link and a six-digit code. Open the link, or type the code on the page that asked for it — the code is for when the email arrives on a different device from the one you are signing in on. The assistant is then connected to the same account you see on your account page.
Finding and buying
How do I buy a photograph?
Ask your assistant for what you need. It shows you previews — some apps do not display pictures in the conversation, so it also gives you a link to open each one. Choose a frame, and the assistant tells you what it costs, checks your credits, and asks you before spending any.
With no credits, it gives you a checkout link instead: to pay for that one photograph by card, where its collection allows it, or to subscribe.
Does my assistant see my card?
No. You pay on a Stripe checkout page that you open yourself. The assistant never sees the page or your card; it only learns that the payment went through.
Is there a free trial?
A new account can claim 1 credit free, once per email address, to try a photograph before paying for anything. It works only in collections whose photographer has allowed it, and your assistant will tell you whether the frame you chose is one. An account that has already paid for something is not offered it.
What do I get when I buy?
Two files of the whole frame, uncropped:
- A screen file, 2560 pixels, for wallpapers, lock screens and backgrounds.
- A print file at the photograph’s full resolution, as a JPEG most print labs accept.
Both are named after the photograph and its photographer. The download links work for 24 hours; ask again at any time for fresh ones, which costs nothing.
Can I download a photograph again later?
Yes, for as long as you need it. Ask your assistant, or sign in to your account page — Your images has both files for everything you own.
What am I allowed to do with it?
Use the image on your own devices and personal projects, forever. No resale, no redistribution, no commercial use, no AI training. Read the license for the full list and its text.
Credits and subscriptions
How do credits and subscriptions work?
A subscription adds credits each month, and each photograph costs a number of credits shown before you buy. What you buy is yours to keep, including after you cancel. The plans and their prices are on the pricing section.
Can I spend credits on the website?
Not yet. Credits are spent through an assistant, or an agent using one of your API keys. Your account page shows your balance and everything you own, and downloads it.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
On your account page, Billing opens Stripe’s billing page, where you cancel, change plan, update your card and download invoices. Cancelling stops new credits and takes back nothing you bought.
Can I get a refund?
In the cases the Return Policy lists — a double charge, a file that could not be delivered, and a few others — within 14 days. A first subscription payment is refunded in full if you cancel within 14 days without spending any of its credits. A refund ends the license for what it paid for.
Your account
How do I disconnect an assistant?
On your account page, Connected apps lists every assistant you have signed in, and Disconnect removes one. API keys are revoked in the section below it.
How do I delete my account?
On your account page, Your data lets you download everything Atelier holds about you as a file, and delete the account. Deleting cancels any subscription at once and removes your purchases with it, so download what you want to keep first.
For photographers
Can I sell my photographs on Atelier?
Photographers join by invitation for now — join the waitlist. Atelier is also a place to deliver work to clients; selling is one switch on a gallery, off until you turn it on. Your photographs are never used to train an AI model, and every license sold here forbids the buyer from using them to train one.
